StockBeacon.net ("StockBeacon," "we," "us," or "our") respects the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains the types of information we may collect when you use StockBeacon.net, how that information is used, and the circumstances in which information may be shared with third parties.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create a StockBeacon account, we may collect information such as your first and last name, display name, username, email address, account creation date, login information, and subscription status.

Passwords are not stored by StockBeacon in readable form. Password credentials are protected using the authentication and security mechanisms used by the StockBeacon platform.

Payment and Subscription Information

StockBeacon uses Stripe, a third-party payment processor, to process subscription payments and manage certain subscription and billing functions. When you provide payment information, such as a credit or debit card number, that information is provided to and processed by Stripe.

StockBeacon does not store your complete credit or debit card number. We may receive and maintain limited information related to your StockBeacon subscription, such as your subscription status, trial expiration date, current subscription period, cancellation status, transaction information, and identifiers provided by Stripe that allow us to manage your subscription.

Payment information entered when beginning a free trial or paid subscription is processed by Stripe and is subject to Stripe's privacy practices.

Information Collected Automatically

When you access StockBeacon, our servers and service providers may automatically receive certain technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages accessed, login activity, and the date and time of requests.

This information may be used to operate StockBeacon, maintain security, diagnose technical problems, prevent unauthorized access, and improve the performance and reliability of the service.

Cookies and Authentication

StockBeacon uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to authenticate users, maintain login sessions, remember certain preferences, and operate the website.

Additional cookies or similar technologies may be used if StockBeacon adds analytics or other optional services in the future. This Privacy Policy may be updated as those services are added.

For example, StockBeacon uses Stripe for payment processing as well as Google and Microsoft for account authentication. These providers may receive information reasonably necessary to provide their services. Information you provide directly to a third-party provider is also subject to that provider's own privacy policy and terms.

Third-Party Login Services

StockBeacon may allow you to create or access your account using a third-party authentication provider, such as Google or Microsoft. If you choose to use one of these services, the authentication provider may provide StockBeacon with certain information associated with your account, such as your name, email address, account identifier, or other information that you authorize the provider to share.

StockBeacon uses this information to authenticate your identity, create or connect your StockBeacon account, and provide access to the service. StockBeacon does not receive your Google or Microsoft password.

Your use of Google or Microsoft authentication is also subject to the privacy practices and terms of the applicable authentication provider.

These service providers may receive information that is reasonably necessary for them to perform services on our behalf. Information provided directly to a third-party provider may also be governed by that provider's own privacy policy.

Sharing of Personal Information

StockBeacon does not sell your personal information.

We may disclose personal information to service providers that perform services on our behalf; when required by applicable law, court order, or other valid legal process; when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, security incidents, or misuse of StockBeacon; or when necessary to protect the rights, property, or security of StockBeacon, our users, or others.

Information may also be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction involving StockBeacon.

Data Security

StockBeacon uses reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

Email Communications

StockBeacon may send service-related email messages necessary to operate your account, including account activation messages, password reset instructions, security notifications, subscription and billing notices, and important changes affecting the service.

If StockBeacon offers optional promotional or marketing communications, users will be provided with an appropriate method to unsubscribe from those communications. Unsubscribing from promotional messages does not prevent StockBeacon from sending necessary account or service-related communications.

Children's Privacy

StockBeacon is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that such information has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

StockBeacon may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the service, technology, or legal requirements change. When the policy is updated, the Effective Date shown at the top of this page will be revised.
